Long before the popularity of the WWJD (What Would Jesus Do) jewelry and t-shirts, we knew exactly what Jesus would do in Mombasa, Kenya . He would: Bring sight to the blind... Help the hard of seeing read again... Train young pastors... Plant new churches... and especially

preach the Gospel to those who have never heard that we can be close to God by accepting Jesus as Savior. Those who have not heard are what we call "The Unreached". My very first contact with the Lighthouse For Christ Mission brought the thought, "That's what Jesus would do!"

Year after year God brings some 30,000 patients to the white clinic buildings with the lighthouse out front, so many can receive their sight in the Name of Jesus. Today, one of the surgeons who may operate on them is a Kenya Christian doctor, well trained and excellent at what he does. Over a thousand each year will respond to a presentation of the Gospel and be born-again to new life in Christ. New Christians need discipleship and today nearly 50 LFCM churches and preaching points dot the landscape of Mombasa and the surrounding area. The churches are growing and new pastors are being trained at the newly built Bible College on the LFCM campus and mentored by those who have current pastorates.

As you pray about your extra gift to the work of Christ in distant lands I ask you to consider The Lighthouse For Christ Mission - it just may be that is what Jesus would have you do.
